Memory Bears are made from clothing or other fabric items that you supply. Memory Teddy Bears can be embellished with everything from glasses to clothing (from the fabrics that you supply). Memory Teddy Bears can have music boxes added to them as well as adding a picture to the tummy of the bear (I supply the tummy fabric for bears with pictures). You can have one or both paws embroidered. You have the choice of eye colors for your bear (or I can use the buttons from the clothing for the bears eyes).
The Memory Teddy Bear in the picture is the Raggedy Ann doll type of joints and are perfect for sitting on a bed, chair or desk. If you want more of a pose able bear then you will want a Fully Jointed Bear. Fully Jointed Bears come in 2 sizes (15 inch & 17 inch). Please note that if you want embroidery on your bear you must choose the Raggedy Ann doll joint type of Memory Bear as the feet are too small on the jointed bears to properly embroider on.

Please allow 3 weeks MINIMUM for your bear to be created after I receive your clothing/fabric (does not include shipping time) - lead times will be longer during the holiday seasons.
I can mix and match fabrics from various clothing to make your bear unique (it takes approximately 1 medium shirt to make a bear). Memory Bears can be made to remember your loved ones (including your pets) or can be a wonderful gift to remember a special occasion such as for a Graduation (example use an outfit or blanket from when they were a baby to make the bear) and have a picture added (or 2) showing them as a baby and as a graduate. Memory Teddy Bears make wonderful gifts for weddings. Take a favorite outfit of the bride and groom have a bear made with a picture of the couple on the tummy and embroider their names and wedding date on the paws. You can even add a veil to the Memory Teddy Bear or you can make 2 bears one for the bride and one for the groom put their pictures on the bears and embroider the dates on the paws. Add a veil to her bear and a top hat to his bear (think of how cute Memory Teddy Bears would look sitting on a table at the wedding reception).
The options to customize your bear are almost limitless and I am always looking for suggestions from customers - so if you have an idea for your bear please let me know as it's what makes your bear unique!
Fabric suggestions for Memory Teddy Bears: cottons, denim, sweatshirt, t-shirt, terry cloth, blankets, towels, flannels, knits (just remember that knits, t-shirts and sweatshirts make fatter bears). Just about any fabric can be used for a Memory Bear just keep in mind that really thin and worn fabrics will not hold up so choose your fabrics well. (ALL UNUSED FABRIC IS RETURNED WITH YOUR COMPLETED BEARS - unless you are shipping them to someone else.
